Course Description:
Pakistan is a nation of natural splendor, passionate people with abundant talent, but unfortunately the country has suffered internal strife and poor governance for decades.

Delivering quality results in a volatile setting can be very challenging. However, contrary to popular perception, implant and regenerative dentistry in Pakistan is thriving with predictable long-term results.

I will share a variety of cases with up to 10 years follow-up regarding: Sinus Augmentation with autologous and allogenic grafts, Platelet rich plasma and application of sticky bone, Autologous tooth bone graft with its osteoinductive properties, Immediate placements in infected sockets, the exciting world of digital impressions, clinical application of cad cam abutments, immediate implant placement with immediate loading, and helping patients who have been victims of poor practice.

Dr. Irfan Qureshi’s Bio

Based in Karachi, Dr. Irfan Qureshi is the first and only Pakistan-based clinician to earn Diplomate Implant Dentistry from the Prestigious Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, where he was recently appointed an examiner for the Diploma Implant Dentistry Exam.

He earned a Masters Degree in Prosthodontics from King’s College London. Dr. Qureshi is a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), and serves as the ICOI ambassador to Pakistan.

At the 2011 ICOI World Congress, Dr. Irfan placed third at the Young Oral Implantologist Competition. In 2015, he won third prize for the best clinical case contest at the Global Dental Implant Academy.
